Updates:
[24 March, 2014] First three properties in Cliff Road (northern) have For Sale signs, and are out for Expressions of Interest through Cale. NOW a week later have SOLD signs.
[19 March, 2014] Hornsby Council's Manager of Strategic Planning, has advised that Hornsby Council's Development Control Plan (DCP) is due to be presented to the Council Meeting on 14 May 2014. Public Exhibition of the DCP is planned to take place from either 20 or 27 May for 28 days. Council will then consider responses and the DCP then become active. NO development applications can be made to Council or Regional Panels before that is in place - ie. not before end July or August (that is one of the reasons for offer of options or delayed settlement.)

Dear All Common Gooders,
An announcement has been made in relation to Epping Town Centre plan today (13 March, 2014)
For those in Cliff Road, the good news is:- the previous 3 storey limit on the northern side of the street (even numbered houses) has been raised to 5 storeys - the 5 houses denoted as 'heritage' no longer have this restriction.
Details can be found at

I understand a number of people have been approached by agents and/or developers.
There are rumours floating around that some property owners have already sold and others have signed options. If anyone can confirm / is willing to share information about this, please 'reply to all' as that was the purpose of the Common Good Group.
I have been approached by an agent offering $2.8 million. Has anyone else had the same offer?
If anyone is still interested in meeting as a group, please let us know (Contact us)
